Meeting Assistant

Introducing an AI meeting assistant for minutes and meeting follow-up at work

Situation

Minutes were written by hand or with tools that had no clear data protection basis. Information got lost, and the follow-up took time that was missing elsewhere.

Approach

Research and a comparison of several providers. Two points decided it: servers located in Germany and built-in consent handling. Before every meeting, all participants receive an email and actively accept or decline before the assistant joins. I had not seen that out of the box with any other provider.

Outcome

The assistant has been introduced and is in use. Next up are the setup for broad use, an internal training session and onboarding the remaining colleagues. I am leading the rollout.
